Wrapping up
I am just sitting here waiting for my senior project stuff to get back to me, so I thought I would take a few minutes and blog. Let's see...
As of noon tomorrow I will be officially done with my senior project. Yay! Overall, my group has been great to work with and I am glad that we had the chance to work together. Insert group hug here. Our project was also pretty cool, and it was kind of neat to see something go from idea conception to (mostly) working prototype...not something you get to do everyday. I am extremely glad that we are almost done though. :-)
I have exactly three weeks of classes left at good 'ole RHIT, and not a free weekend between now and sometime in mid July. Actually, I just realized tonight that from now on I will see Nat every weekend indefinitely. Here is the weekend schedule:
May7-8 ChiO DAT/Amy in town!!!
May 15-16 ChiO Formal
May22-23 Moving to Chicago
May 29-30 Graduation!!!
June 5-6 Chatanooga for Scott Fiddler's wedding
June 12-13 Indianapolis for Keith Moench's wedding
June 19-20 Nat and I get married!!!
June 26-27 Still on the honeymoon!
July 3-4 Indianapolis for a Fourth of July party (guaranteed to be an amazing time)
July 10-11 The first weekend that I don't have anything to do!!!
In other words we will be busy, but it's a good thing. I've had enough of this whole spend a weekend together and then see each other again three weeks later. I'm glad the wedding will be here soon!
Speaking of weddings, I had a bridal shower this weekend. It was a lot of fun, and Nat and I got some nice stuff. In some ways it was kind of weird to have a party to get gifts, but it was fun and it was nice to spend time with family and friends. Now I get to start with the never-ending thank you notes!
I have started packing in my apartment, but there is definitely a lot more to do. I am determined to have everything packed by the end of the year, so that I don't have to spend the day after graduation frantically packing. Speaking of packing I think that's what I'm going to do until my project comes in....
T-26 days 10 hours 33 minutes until graduation...
